An Ceannaiche Mhàsach (The ‘fat bottomed’ Shopper)

This shopping basket has delicious feminine curves to it – the Gaelic ‘màsach’ literally translating to ‘large-bottomed woman’, which I think describes it perfectly. The bellied shape is also practical, in that it adds more volume for you to squeeze more goodies into. This is my favourite style to nip to the shops with for a quick top-up shop. Three different tones of green willow are used in this one for subtle and natural feeling colour contrasts.
